NORTHWEST SCOOTER ENTHUSIASTS
...for Maxi Scooter Riders
We are a group of scooter enthusiasts who like to ride maxi scooters and live in the Puget Sound area of Washington. The group is open to owners of all makes and models of scooters that are highway capable, typically 200cc's or more.
We meet monthly for a social gathering which allows list members to meet other members, enjoy great food and conversation and most importantly talk about scooters, rides and scooter related events.
We do two types of rides throughout the year. Sunday rides and city cruises.
Our city cruises are short tours through the Seattle area and we enjoy the many sights as well as good food from many of the cities local eateries.
Our Sunday rides are longer range and typically last until late afternoon. We’ve found Sunday to be the most universal day for our list members to ride.
Each summer we hold our
annual rally in the Columbia River Gorge as part of the larger Sound RIDER! Rally Week in the Gorge which is a sanctioned AMA event.
In the winter, when it’s a bit too chilly to ride, we come up with other events like our movie afternoon and, maintenance classes and experienced rider training classes.
SymplifyLife.com was developed to share motor scooter and motorcycle news with SYM enthusiasts across the Mid-South region of the United States. Since its inception, we’ve added two lines of related items: ScooterGirls GoGo Gear and EZ Dealer Finance (for dealers offering consumer finance options).

The Westenders are a diverse group of fun-loving scooterists who are into scooting, good friends, good food, good music, and good fun. We do welcome non-members to ride with us as our guests on rides that are posted here on the website that are not otherwise noted as "members only". If you wish to ride with us, please review our riding protocols.
If you would like to be a Westender, understand that membership is by invitation only. Please read a little about us first. Ride with us for awhile, get to know everyone, and we'll talk.
